Key Responsibilities

  • Governing the test process from set up to studying data and generating reports to resolve issues regarding design or manufacturing.
  • Collaborating with customers to define the scope of the on-machine test and creating a project charter.
  • Monitoring results for machine and process capabilities and performance reliability.
  • Planning, improving, and supporting testing procedures to make the test more reliable, efficient, and cost-effective.
  • Supporting other Test Engineers to carry out on-machine tests.
  • Participating in the adoption of new technologies and processes to achieve greater efficiency and quality improvement.

Requirements

  • Degree in an accredited Engineering or Science curriculum desired, or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of product testing approaches and ability to design, plan, and execute testing strategies.
  • Knowledge of troubleshooting approaches and ability to resolve technical problems in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of technology and ability to develop solutions to significant technical issues.
  • Understanding of effective communication concepts and ability to accurately interpret ideas and information.
  • Knowledge of evaluation techniques and ability to recommend solutions to problems.
