Job Role: Lead Control Systems Engineer

Location: Leicester

Salary: £50,000 - £55,000

Metalis Engineering Recruitment Limited is working with a leading engineering site and plant manufacturer with a strong order book. We are seeking an experienced Lead Control Systems Engineer to join their System Engineering team.

The company operates globally and offers on-the-job training and development opportunities. This role will be based at their main site, with occasional travel required.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Support the development of control systems for existing and future projects.
  2. Design and produce CAD schematics.
  3. Provide site support for installation teams during final handover.
  4. Liaise with the mechanical development team.
  5. Utilize PC-based systems, including Rockwell CompactLogix and Red-Lion Graphite Terminals with Toshiba Unified Controller PLC.
Requirements:
  1. Knowledge of Allen Bradley and Siemens equipment.
  2. Experience in the construction industry.
  3. Ability to read and design schematics.
  4. 5 years of experience in writing new programs.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 17:00 (flexible). Salary: £50,000 - £55,000.
