We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Community Youth Worker to join our team at Colchester United Community Foundation. As a Community Youth Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality mentoring sessions, creating engaging content, and supporting various health and inclusion programs.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and deliver high-quality mentoring resources and sessions for students.
- Build strong relationships with students, schools, and community organizations.
- Support the management of relationships with schools, community organizations, and external partners.
- Contribute to securing resources and funding opportunities for program development.
- Youth Mental Health First Aider qualification or willingness to complete.
- Qualification in mentoring or similar.
- Experience in youth work, mentoring, or a similar role in education or community settings.
- Strong communication and rapport-building skills.
- Willingness to undertake a CUFC Enhanced DBS Check.
- 20 Days Annual Leave per calendar year + Bank Holidays.
- Performance incentives and related bonuses.
- Access to a Pool Vehicle and Fuel Card.
- Free staff onsite parking.
