About Us: Thornbury Community Services is a leading provider of bespoke care and support services for young people with complex needs.

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Paediatric Nurse to join our team and provide high-quality care and support to a 14-year-old male with Cerebral Palsy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver bespoke care and support to young people with complex needs
  • Work collaboratively with the client's family and multidisciplinary team to achieve personal goals and outcomes
  • Provide education and training to the client and their family on complex care and management
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans and risk assessments
  • Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the development of the service

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 months' experience in the last 2 years in a Paediatric nursing role
  • Recent experience in key skills such as Nasopharyngeal Suction, Mechanical Cough Assist, and Care and use of gastrostomy
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances
