Job Title: Head Pastry Chef

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Pastry Chef to join our team at Titanic Hotel Belfast. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the pastry section and ensuring the highest standards of quality and presentation in our dessert offerings.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead the pastry section and oversee the production of high-quality desserts
  • Develop and implement seasonal menu offerings and specials
  • Supervise and train pastry chefs to ensure excellent standards of quality and presentation
  • Manage food cost controls and contribute to the hotel's revenue growth
  • Ensure compliance with food hygiene and health and safety regulations
  • Maintain a high standard of kitchen cleanliness and hygiene practice

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Head Pastry Chef in a high-end hotel or restaurant
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong knowledge of food hygiene and health and safety regulations
  • Ability to train and develop pastry chefs
