About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Co-ordinator to join our Design team at Vital Energi. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of design packages on various projects. Based at our Head Office in Blackburn, you will work closely with the Design team to ensure the successful completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities

* Assist the Project Leader and/or Design Manager in the management of the design process, utilizing commercial, contractual, and technical expertise.

* Identify, scope, and appoint external consultants and contractors as needed for project delivery, ensuring timely and high-quality results.

* Support the Town and Country Planning processes, maintaining pace with project timescales.

* Plan, chair, and record meetings, capturing key progress and decisions, and ensuring proactive follow-up on actions.

* Assist the design team in producing information, adhering to current legislation, standards, and codes of practice.

* Eliminate or reduce health and safety risks in the design process.

* Minimize financial risks during the construction process.

* Operate in accordance with Quality, Health and Safety, and Environmental Management Systems and other agreed procedures.

* Foster strong relationships with internal colleagues, installation, and project teams.

* Liaise with clients on work-related issues.

* Support the input of CDM detail within the company's processes and legislation.

Requirements

* Excellent stakeholder management skills, enabling close working relationships.

* Strong communication and people skills.

* A Bachelor's or Master's degree in an engineering discipline, Construction Management, or Architecture.

* A can-do attitude and a flair for innovation.

* Knowledge of working on construction projects.
