We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dysphagia Speech and Language Therapist to join our team at HCRG Care Group. As a key member of our Community Children's Therapy Team, you will be responsible for leading our service provision in West Essex, covering Uttlesford, Harlow, and Epping Forest.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the development and implementation of our dysphagia service, ensuring high-quality care and support for infants, children, and young people aged 0-19 with dysphagia.
- Provide highly specialist assessment and management of dysphagia in community settings and local specialist educational provisions.
- Manage and develop the dysphagia service through leading on relevant projects and initiatives.
- Provide clinical supervision and line management to less experienced members of the team.
- Work closely with the wider Essex Child and Family Wellbeing Service, including the Community Nursing Team, Healthy Family Team, Paediatric Community Dietitian Service, Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy Services, and Community Paediatricians.
- Hold a degree qualification or equivalent in Speech and Language Therapy and post-qualification training and experience in dysphagia.
- Be registered with the Health and Care Professionals Council and Royal College of Speech and Language Therapy.
- Have access to regular clinical supervision and ongoing continued professional development, including through access to external clinical networks.
- Be a part of a team that recognizes and celebrates clinical excellence, steered by evidence-based practice.
- Hold a valid UK driving license and have access to a car for work purposes.
