Position Overview
The International Property Treaty underwriting division is a key player in managing significant income streams for both US and global clientele. This role focuses on enhancing and renewing the International Property Treaty portfolio while providing essential support to the broader underwriting team.

This position offers the chance to engage with a well-established, supportive, and collaborative team atmosphere, where you will be integral to the underwriting process, overseeing risk management from initial acceptance through to outward reinsurance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cultivate and assist in the ongoing development of the Property Treaty product line, with a specific focus on the International portfolio.
- Efficiently negotiate, evaluate, and underwrite both renewal and new business in alignment with the strategic business plan and personal authority limits.
- Provide support to the Property Treaty team in areas such as broker engagement, modeling, strategic analysis, emerging risk evaluation, and business planning.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers and clients to facilitate the generation of new business opportunities.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and internal protocols, including aggregate management for high-risk scenarios.
- Prepare underwriting reports and presentations as necessary.
- Foster positive relationships with both external and internal stakeholders.
- Analyze statistics and assess the performance of all risks and accounts.
- Review and finalize contract language as required.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Experience in Lloyd's or company markets (broking or underwriting) in a client-facing capacity.
- Technical expertise in the Property Treaty class, with a preference for experience in International markets.
- Proficient in IT applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) at an advanced level.
- Familiarity with Cat modeling tool outputs at both policy and portfolio levels, such as RMS.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong analytical capabilities and problem-solving skills.
