Vocational Skills Assessor

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Vocational Skills Assessor to join our team at Kingston College. As a Vocational Skills Assessor, you will play a crucial role in facilitating the effective and efficient assessment of learners in Beauty Therapy and other related programs.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess learners on various programs across the Commercial Industries and Access School, including Level 1, 2, and 3 in Beauty Therapy, Customer Service & Workskills.
- Provide prompt and constructive feedback to learners after assessment.
- Develop and maintain a strong client base in the Commercial salons, ensuring income targets are met.
- Undertake assessments in the College salons and other practical areas, maintaining a professional, safe, and secure environment.
- Hold professional qualifications with a reputable awarding body, recognized TDLB Assessor Awards (D32, D33) or TDLB new A1 Award for Assessors and hold an IV Award.
- Have recent experience within the beauty therapy industry, either through a professional development file (CPD) or recent salon experience, qualified to at least Level 3 in Beauty Therapy.
- Excellent communication skills and demonstrable patience.
- Good IT skills or a willingness to gain these.
