Overview

The night shift is where the essential operations take place. Deliveries arrive, shelves are replenished, and everything must be prepared for the day ahead. This is an excellent opportunity to kickstart or advance your career in retail management, as it equips you with vital skills.

In this role, you will oversee the overnight team and manage all in-store activities during your shift. Comprehensive training will empower you to lead your team effectively, allocate resources wisely, and ensure customer satisfaction.

Your Responsibilities

Our mission is driven by our love for food, as we strive to serve and assist every customer.

Your team will be responsible for restocking shelves, processing warehouse deliveries, and assisting with online order fulfillment overnight. You will ensure that everything is perfectly positioned for your colleagues and customers in the morning. Your primary focus will be on operational management within the store—ensuring a seamless night shift, overseeing your team's performance and time management, and demonstrating a decisive, organized, and inclusive leadership style.

We understand that night work is not suitable for everyone, which is why an additional annual premium of up to £4,500 is available for eligible night shift management positions.

While on duty, you will be accountable for ensuring that operations run smoothly. Collaborating with other managers, you will plan shift schedules and activities in advance. At the end of your shift, you will conduct a thorough handover to the incoming Manager.

We will provide you with the necessary time and resources to execute these responsibilities effectively. When our teams collaborate seamlessly, our customers notice the difference.

  • 4-night workweek - our full-time night shift managers complete their hours over 4 nights
