Position Overview

The Urology Administrative Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the Urology department. This position involves a variety of responsibilities aimed at providing exceptional service to patients and supporting clinical staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to all incoming telephone inquiries related to patient appointments and provide general guidance, directing calls to the appropriate personnel when necessary.
  • Perform general administrative tasks to support the department's operations.
  • Update and maintain outcome documentation from clinic visits.
  • Schedule appointments for procedural clinics efficiently.
  • Facilitate effective communication between clinical and administrative teams within the organization.

Main Duties

The successful candidate will deliver a comprehensive reception service to all patients and staff accessing the Urology department. This role requires proficiency in utilizing a designated computer system for entering patient information, alongside various office and clerical tasks.

Flexibility and Adaptability

The individual in this role will be expected to work flexibly across the organization and health community as needed, ensuring adequate coverage to meet patient and service demands. This may involve working in different areas and adapting to the skills required for various services that may be provided from a centralized location.

Problem-Solving Skills

The role requires the ability to address non-routine challenges, including developing alternative procedures or solutions for specific tasks.
