Pharmacy Technician / Trainee Pharmacy Technician

Working Hours: Friday, 9am-6pm (1 hour unpaid break) & Saturday, 9am-12pm (11 hours per week)

Role Overview:

As a Pharmacy Technician or Trainee Pharmacy Technician, you will support the Pharmacist in the preparation and distribution of medications for our patients. We seek an individual who is meticulous in their work and capable of delivering exceptional service consistently.

In your role at Right Medicine Pharmacy, you will collaborate with the Pharmacy team, including Pharmacy Assistants, Technicians, and the Pharmacist, to ensure the highest standard of care for our patients and customers. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting the Pharmacist and Technicians with the labeling, endorsing, ordering, and preparation of various prescriptions and medication orders.
  • Coordinating daily and weekly prescriptions, ensuring timely re-ordering and preparation of items for collection or delivery.
  • Engaging directly with patients to gather medical information and dispense prescriptions.
  • Performing additional tasks necessary for the efficient operation of the Pharmacy.

Candidate Profile:

We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in medication dispensing through formal pharmacy training, although we welcome applications from those eager to advance their careers in Pharmacy.

This position requires participation in several formal training programs, which may necessitate some commitment outside of regular working hours.
