Pharmacy Technician / Trainee Pharmacy Technician

Working Hours: Friday, 9am-6pm (1 hour unpaid break) & Saturday, 9am-12pm (11 hours per week)

Role Overview:

As a Pharmacy Technician or Trainee, you will play a vital role in supporting the Pharmacist with the preparation and dispensing of medications for our patients. We seek an individual who is meticulous in their work and dedicated to delivering exceptional service.

In this position, you will collaborate with the Pharmacy team, including Pharmacy Assistants, Technicians, and the Pharmacist, to ensure our patients receive the Right care. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting the Pharmacist and Technicians with the labeling, endorsing, ordering, and preparation of prescriptions and medication orders.
  • Coordinating daily and weekly prescriptions, ensuring timely reordering and preparation for collection or delivery.
  • Interacting directly with patients to gather medical information and dispense prescriptions.
  • Performing other essential duties to ensure the efficient operation of the Pharmacy.

Candidate Profile:

We prefer candidates with prior experience in medication dispensing through formal pharmacy training, but we welcome applications from those eager to advance their careers in Pharmacy.

This role requires participation in various formal training programs, which may occur during and outside of working hours.
