Job Summary:

Runwood Homes is seeking a skilled and compassionate Care Team Leader to join our team. As a Care Team Leader, you will play a vital role in planning and implementing high-quality care for our residents, ensuring their safety, dignity, and independence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of Care Assistants to deliver exceptional care and support to our residents.
  • Maintain accurate records and build strong relationships with colleagues and residents.
  • Assist the Home Manager and Deputy Manager in providing physical and mental care, administering medication, and conducting medication audits.
  • Develop and implement person-centred care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.
  • Collaborate with the care team to ensure seamless care delivery and effective communication.

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in leading a team to deliver care, preferably in a care home setting.
  • Knowledge of caring for people with dementia and experience in person-centred care planning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and residents.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and maintain accurate records.
