Care Team Leader Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Care Team Leader to join our team at Runwood Homes. As a Care Team Leader, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of care are delivered to our residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Care Assistants to deliver exceptional care to our residents
  • Plan and implement care plans that promote independence, dignity, and security for our residents
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues
  • Assist the Home Manager and Deputy Manager in providing physical and mental care to our residents
  • Administer medication and conduct medication audits

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care or equivalent
  • Experience in person-centred care planning and caring for people with dementia
  • Ability to lead a team and maintain accurate records
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
