Job Title: SME Commercial Insurance Broker

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SME Commercial Insurance Broker to join our team at Lawes Consulting Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing support to our management and account executives in handling SME commercial insurance risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the launch and growth of our new office in Glasgow, providing support to management and account executives in their day-to-day duties.
  • Handle new and existing commercial insurance risks, providing quotations, handling renewals, MTA's, insurer placement, invoicing, and other related tasks.
  • Work closely with account executives, attending client visits as required, and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
  • Keep Acturis records up to date, ensuring accurate and timely information.
  • Attend network events, growing and developing insurer relationships, and staying up-to-date with industry developments.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience within commercial insurance broking.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of commercial insurance products, including property, motor, EL, PL, commercial combined, business interruption, and other relevant products.
  • Understanding of general and legal principles of insurance and relevant regulatory and legal frameworks.
  • Existing insurer relationships would be beneficial.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and use initiative.
  • Computer literate, with experience in Acturis.
  • CII qualifications would be advantageous.
