Job Title: Commercial Insurance Account Broker

Location: Hybrid working arrangement, with 2 days in the office and 3 days working from home

Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum, dependent on experience

Purpose of Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join Lawes Insurance Recruitment as a Commercial Insurance Account Broker, working with a global broking company to handle large and complex corporate insurance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with company directors to provide a professional and efficient service to corporate clients
  • Manage new and existing risks, including quotations, renewals, and policy issues
  • Liaise with insurers to build strong working relationships and negotiate policy terms
  • Manage account queries and credit control matters, ensuring timely and accurate resolution
  • Diary management and organization to meet deadlines and priorities

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in the commercial insurance broking industry, with a strong understanding of commercial insurance risks
  • Chartered Insurance Institute qualifications or working towards them would be an advantage
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and insurers
  • IT literacy and proficiency in Acturis
