Job Title: Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Engineer
Location: Stockton-on-Tees and surrounding areas
Randstad C&P is seeking a skilled Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Engineer to join our client's global facilities management team. As a dedicated professional, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality services and ensuring the comfort and safety of commercial property occupants.
This is a full-time, permanent position covering commercial properties in Stockton-on-Tees. The successful candidate will work Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, with 1 in 4 on-call standby pay.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform PPM and reactive maintenance on various air conditioning systems, including split systems, VRVs/VRFs, and chillers.
- Diagnose and repair faults on HVAC systems, ensuring minimal downtime for clients.
- Carry out installation and commissioning of HVAC systems when required.
- Undertake general fabric maintenance tasks such as basic plumbing, electrical work, and carpentry.
- Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and participate in a 1-in-4 on-call rota.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and technological advancements in air conditioning systems.
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience in the maintenance and repair of air conditioning systems in commercial environments.
- Basic knowledge and experience in general fabric maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work.
- Full UK driving licence.
