We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Manager to lead our pharmacy team in a private hospital setting. As a Pharmacy Manager, you will be responsible for providing an exemplary pharmacy service, ensuring the safe and effective use of medicines, and providing leadership to the pharmacy team.
Key Responsibilities- Provision of a high-quality pharmacy service in accordance with current legislation and professional standards
- Provide advice and support to consultants and other clinical staff
- Ensure the safe and cost-effective use of medicines
- Lead and motivate the pharmacy team to achieve high standards
- Advising on the safe management of medicines to the hospital and its departments
- Lead on quality improvement projects and audit within pharmacy
- General Pharmaceutical Council (GPHC) registration with no restrictions
- Eligibility to live and work in the UK
- At least 5 years' experience in a hospital pharmacy setting
- Experience of clinical leadership is essential
- Clinical diploma desirable
- Ability to train and motivate staff
