Job Summary

Cboe is seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Global Derivatives Sales team as Vice President, Head of Sales and Trading. This is a critical role that requires a strong understanding of the European derivatives market and the ability to develop and execute a strategic sales plan to drive growth and expansion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement a Strategic Sales Plan: Create and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive growth and expansion in the European derivatives market.
  • Lead the Global Derivatives Sales Team: Manage and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets and drive business growth.
  • Build and Maintain Client Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders in the European derivatives market.
  • Collaborate with Internal Teams: Work closely with internal teams, including Data and Access, Marketing, and Communications, to ensure alignment and effective execution of sales strategies.
  • Analyze and Report Sales Performance: Analyze sales data and report on sales performance to senior management and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • 15+ Years of Experience: Minimum 15 years of experience in the European derivatives market, with a strong background in sales and trading.
  • Leadership Experience: Proven leadership experience, with a track record of managing and motivating high-performing teams.
  • Strong Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the European derivatives market, including listed and OTC products, vanilla and exotic options, and structured notes.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with senior executives, clients, and internal stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English: Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively in a global business environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Fluency in a Second Language: Fluency in a second language, such as German, French, Spanish, or Italian, is highly desirable.
  • Experience with CRM Software: Experience with CRM software, such as Salesforce, is highly desirable.
