Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Supervisor to join our Aggregate and Asphalt division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the operation of our asphalt plant, mobile plant, and weighbridge functions, as well as coordinating the shift and supervising the site.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and motivate the operational team to achieve excellence and continual improvement in quality and efficiency.
- Manage stock levels of fuel, constituent, and raw materials.
- Ensure mixing plans are carried out effectively and cost-efficiently.
- Report critical issues in a timely and accurate manner.
- Generate task-specific risk assessments and safe working practices.
- Control and supervise contractors in accordance with our health, safety, and environmental policies, procedures, and practices.
- Carry out all weighbridge functions, including managing the daily delivery schedule and maintaining effective communication with team members to ensure customer needs are met.
To be considered for this role, you must have experience with asphalt plant manufacturing operating systems. You will have a good understanding of health and safety practices and legislation, as well as experience operating loading shovels, telehandlers, and weighbridges. You will also have a strong customer focus, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to lead and motivate a team.
