Freight Operations Coordinator

Right Now Group is partnering with a leading global freight forwarder based in the West Midlands to find an experienced Freight Operations Coordinator.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of road freight operations in the UK and Europe, including import and export movements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage existing client relationships, ensuring seamless customs clearance and freight forwarding services.
  • Develop and present proposals to clients at all levels, including costing schedules.
  • Negotiate with clients and suppliers regarding rates and services.
  • Coordinate and communicate with internal teams to ensure administrative tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Identify opportunities to develop new products and trade lanes.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in road freight operations.
  • Excellent client engagement and relationship management skills.
  • Strong knowledge of road freight and distribution operations.
  • Good understanding of customs regulations.

What We Offer:

A competitive salary of £28,000 - £35,000 per annum, plus overtime, pension, and holiday entitlement.

Monday to Friday working hours, 9:00am - 5:30pm.
