About the Role:

As a key member of our team at Copello, you will be responsible for the specification, implementation, and support of designated ATC systems throughout their life cycle. This will involve advising and assisting with the evaluation of tenders, producing Tender Evaluation Reports, and assessing technical solutions proposed by manufacturers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain Project Plans and Safety Cases for less complex projects, and provide assistance in the preparation of Safety Cases and Project Plans for complex projects.
  • Conduct system reliability analysis and investigate design faults on operational systems, implementing solutions to ensure faults are corrected with minimal disruption to the operational service.
  • Collate serviceability data, ATC reports, status reports, and in-service operating data to ensure integrity and performance are maintained.
  • Assist in the planning and implementation of modifications to operational systems to correct design faults.

Requirements:

  • Hold a qualification to at least HND level in electronic engineering, computer science, or a similar discipline.
  • Have at least 2 years of experience in engineering aspects of project/system management and an in-depth equipment knowledge of one or more aspects of relevant systems.
  • Have a good understanding of ATC practices and procedures, as well as current BS and IEE standards relating to electrical/electronic equipment.
  • Be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, including the production of reports and technical papers.
  • Possess good interpersonal skills, be self-motivated, and able to work unsupervised in remote locations.
