About the Role:

Tungaloy-NTK UK is seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Technical Sales Engineer to join our team. As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional support and advice on our comprehensive range of cutting tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively meet and exceed sales targets by identifying new business opportunities and expanding market share.
  • Understand and manage customer requirements, confidently negotiating and closing sales.
  • Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical assistance, including conducting presentations and demonstrations that showcase the benefits of our cutting tools.
  • Document cost-saving activities and maintain accurate records in our CRM system.

Requirements:

  • Proven success in selling metal cutting tools or a background as a multi-skilled engineer with strong knowledge in cutting tools.
  • Ability to advise on optimal metal removal rates for various applications including milling, drilling, grooving, turning, and threading.
  • Proficiency in reading engineering drawings is essential.
  • A mechanical engineering qualification or a technical apprenticeship is preferred.
