Technical Sales Engineer - Scotland Company: Tungaloy is a leading global provider of cutting tool solutions, known for our innovative and high-quality products. We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Technical Sales Engineer to join our team in Scotland. In this role, you will use your engineering knowledge and sales expertise to provide exceptional support and advice on our comprehensive range of cutting tools. Sales & Growth : Proactively meet and exceed sales targets by identifying new business opportunities and expanding market share.
Understand and manage customer requirements, confidently negotiating and closing sales.
Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical assistance, including conducting presentations and demonstrations that showcase the benefits of our cutting tools.
Document cost-saving activities and maintain accurate records in our CRM system.
Networking : Experience : Proven success in selling metal cutting tools or a background as a multi-skilled engineer with strong knowledge in cutting tools.
Technical Skills : Ability to advise on optimal metal removal rates for various applications including milling, drilling, grooving, turning, and threading. Proficiency in reading engineering drawings is essential.
Qualifications : A mechanical engineering qualification or a technical apprenticeship is preferred.
