Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver captivating and structured lessons aligned with the KS1 curriculum, ensuring accessibility for all students.
  • Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom atmosphere that inspires a passion for learning and encourages positive behavior.
  • Evaluate and track students' progress, offering constructive feedback to aid their academic and personal development.
  • Modify teaching strategies and resources to accommodate the diverse needs of students, including those with special educational needs and English as an additional language.
  • Collaborate with school personnel, including teaching assistants and fellow educators, to enrich the learning experience.
  • Maintain detailed records of student progress and communicate effectively with parents and guardians as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a background in KS1 education.
  • A comprehensive understanding of the KS1 curriculum and effective teaching methodologies.
  • Strong classroom management abilities and the capacity to engage and motivate young learners.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in various educational environments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.

All pay rates mentioned will include statutory holiday pay. This position is temporary, with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent role in the future.
