Clinical Fellow in Anaesthetics Specialist

This is a key role in delivering high-quality patient care at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The post will be primarily based in Basingstoke, with occasional requirements to attend other sites. The post holder will be involved in all aspects of patient diagnosis and treatment, including anaesthetising for elective operating lists and providing pre- and post-operative care.
Main DutiesThe Fellow will be responsible for anaesthetising patients for elective operating lists in main theatres, providing pre- and post-operative care, and participating in the resident on-call rota. The on-call duties will involve cover of the intensive care department and/or the operating theatres and obstetric anaesthesia.

Person SpecificationThe ideal candidate will have a strong background in anaesthetics and intensive care medicine, with experience in anaesthetising for elective operating lists and providing pre- and post-operative care. The post holder will also need to be able to work effectively in a team, communicate effectively with patients and colleagues, and demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional development.
