Senior Human Resources Business Partner

Key Responsibilities:
- Transform business objectives into effective people strategies by partnering with C-suite executives and other leaders.
- Balance employee and business needs while minimizing risks within designated areas.
- Lead and support workforce planning, forecasting, and organizational design initiatives.
- Act as a liaison between the people team and executive leadership, fostering key relationships and facilitating communication.
- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on HR-related laws, policies, and best practices.
- Collaborate with the executive team to implement KCS's people strategies, focusing on change management, employee engagement, and succession planning.
- Regularly consult with leadership on workforce planning, especially for growth products.
- Provide HR support and coaching to executives and their teams on people-related matters.
- Advise leadership on enhancing employee retention, engagement, and relationships.
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of initiatives such as job architecture and performance evaluation frameworks.
- Analyze people data to inform the Chief People Officer and executives, enabling data-driven decision-making.
- Work closely with Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, and People Operations to support business growth.
- Deliver commercially sound HR advice with a focus on the financial implications of decisions.
- Ensure compliance and fairness in all employee and third-party interactions.
- Promote a vibrant and inclusive workplace culture aligned with our core values.
- Serve as an escalation point for complex HR issues and inquiries.
- Support senior leadership in employee relations, engagement, policy matters, and global mobility as needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Chief People Officer.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Recognized HR qualification or equivalent experience.
- Strong interpersonal and engagement capabilities.
- Demonstrated experience in HR or related roles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Robust business acumen and relationship management skills.
- Up-to-date knowledge of employment law and best practices in the region.
- Strong analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitative.
- Proven track record of partnering with managers and leaders to deliver effective HR solutions.
