About the Role

This role will involve holistic planning, coordination, mentoring, and support for apprentices in the Early Years Education sector, from level 2 to level 5, and the Teaching Assistant role. You'll share your knowledge and experience with apprentices to ensure they achieve their program goals and reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct skills reviews with apprentices and employers to identify gaps and develop individualized training plans.
  • Maintain candidate records, perform workplace observations, and deliver high-quality training to meet awarding body standards.
  • Assess skills and behaviors, providing feedback via the ePortfolio system, and create tailored action plans for candidates.
  • Support English and Maths training, ensuring successful completion in collaboration with FS specialists, and provide tutorial support on Prevent, British Values, Personal Development, Behavior, Welfare, Safeguarding, and additional learning needs.
  • Conduct remote webinars for apprentices, train on British Values, Prevent, mental health, well-being, career guidance, and safety topics, and manage the start-up pack and evidence base for apprentices.
  • Monitor candidate progress, support portfolio completion and assessments, and record and report on Additional Learning Support (ALS).
Requirements
  • Hold a qualification or have experience in the subject area.
  • Have up-to-date industry knowledge.
  • Hold Level 2 Numeracy and Literacy qualifications.
  • Have experience of working with employers in a training or customer relations role.
  • Able to develop strong professional relationships with employers and learners.
  • Have strong IT skills and be willing to work with e-portfolio's.
  • Can motivate learners and ensure they complete on time.
  • Hold a full driving license, have own vehicle, and be willing to travel to customer sites.
  • Have high levels of motivation and the ability to use own initiative.
