Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Selfridges. As a key member of our restaurant management team, you will be responsible for supporting the daily operations of all our restaurants within the Oxford Street store.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the morning team meetings with the Restaurant Managers, providing updates on any activity in store that day.
  • Run through the financial plan for the day and collect personal forecasts from the Restaurant Managers.
  • Support all teams during service by holding the 'duty phone,' resolving issues, and dealing with any problems that may arise.
  • Jump into service to support a specific restaurant if needed, especially during peak times.
  • Perform a range of tasks, including hosting and greeting guests, clearing tables, running drinks and food, and supporting in our back-of-house areas.
  • Be the go-to person for all restaurant operations, updating the store hosts, store lead, and department managers on any events or situations that occur across our restaurants.
  • Work collaboratively with teams to achieve world-class service standards and customer experiences.
  • Demonstrate a balanced and flexible approach to your role, thinking innovatively and creatively to find solutions to problems.
