We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join our team at a leading secondary school in Shropshire. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining continuity of learning in the absence of teachers.

The Role:

As a Cover Supervisor, your responsibilities will include supervising classes, delivering pre-prepared lessons, and ensuring a positive and productive learning environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience in education while making a real difference in the lives of students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise classes and maintain a positive and productive learning environment
  • Deliver pre-prepared lessons and ensure continuity of learning
  • Manage classroom behavior effectively and maintain a safe and respectful environment
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to ensure the smooth running of the school
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively
  • Flexibility and adaptability to different subjects and year groups
  • Previous experience working with young people is desirable but not essential
