About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Worker to join our team at Belvoir Home Care. As a Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to clients, including assistance with daily living tasks, meal preparation, and medication management.
  • Assist clients with mobility and transfer, as needed.
  • Engage in activities with clients to promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure client needs are met and exceeded.
Requirements
  • Must have a genuine desire to help people and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care.
  • Must have a good level of spoken English and be able to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Must have access to a vehicle and a valid driver's license.
  • Should be motivated to enrich people's lives and be willing to participate in activities and outings with clients.
  • Must be able to commit to some weekend working, usually one in two, to ensure a good work-life balance.
