Recovery Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Recovery Worker to join our team in South Ayrshire. As a Recovery Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality recovery care to individuals experiencing difficulties due to substance misuse.
About the RoleAs a Recovery Worker, you will be responsible for:
- Providing support and advice to clients to help them achieve their recovery goals
- Developing and implementing personalized recovery plans
- Working collaboratively with other social care services to ensure comprehensive support
- Conducting regular assessments and reviews to monitor progress
- Maintaining accurate and timely records of client interactions
- Participating in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- SVQ level 3 in Social Services & Healthcare or equivalent
- Registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) or meet the registration requirements
- Experience working in a health, social care, or related setting
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team and prioritize tasks
