Become an integral part of the Cleveland Metroparks team by contributing to the upkeep and improvement of park facilities. As a Park Maintenance Worker, you will engage in a variety of unskilled and semi-skilled tasks aimed at delivering high-quality services and programs in accordance with Park District standards.
Primary Duties:
- Execute routine maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, and cleaning with diligence.
- Oversee the upkeep of Park Operations' buildings and grounds through regular maintenance activities.
- Conduct minor repairs on equipment as necessary.
- Work collaboratively with skilled personnel on construction initiatives and facility enhancements.
- Develop proficiency in the operation and maintenance of various equipment.
- Maintain effective communication with supervisors regarding significant matters.
- Promote a safe working environment by addressing hazards and unsafe conditions in a timely manner.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
