Watford House Care Home is actively seeking a Recreational Activities Manager to enhance the quality of life for our residents.
In this pivotal role, you will work in tandem with the Home Manager to design and implement engaging activities that cater to the diverse interests and needs of our residents.
- Position: Recreational Activities Manager
- Hours: 30 hours per week
- Salary: £11.44 per hour
- Contract includes: Pension, 5.6 weeks annual leave, DBS paid
Your primary focus will be to foster social interactions among residents and provide a range of activities that accommodate various preferences. Key responsibilities will include:
- Developing monthly activity schedules
- Encouraging residents to engage in their hobbies and interests
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:
- Demonstrated experience in organizing events
- A warm, innovative, and self-assured personality
- A sincere passion for working with the elderly
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- The capability to collaborate effectively within a team as well as work independently
