Job Opportunity: Lead Prosthetist/Centre Manager

Blatchford, a global leader in prosthetic technology, is seeking an experienced Clinician to lead our team as Lead Prosthetist/Centre Manager. This role will deliver the Prosthetics service on behalf of the NHS in Wolverhampton.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide effective leadership and day-to-day management of the centre, ensuring a high-quality clinical service.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based clinical packages that meet the commercial needs of the company and are affordable to the NHS.
  • Ensure care packages are effectively managed, with clinical controls aligned to best practice guidelines.
  • Develop professional working relationships with key stakeholders, including NHS staff and patients.
  • Stay up-to-date with local contract requirements and attend contract review meetings.
  • Accountable for all aspects of people management, including setting clear objectives and ensuring KPIs are met.
  • Participate in annual budget setting and work with the team to review service and develop an action plan for improvement.

Requirements:
  • Qualified in Prosthetics/Orthotics and HCPC registration.
  • Previous experience of managing teams to deliver commercial contracts, managing budgets, and contract management.
  • Able to prioritise own workload and that of others, with excellent communication skills and sound judgement and decision-making skills.
  • Advanced and appropriate IT skills, with auditing and KPI experience.
