Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess, measure, cast, fit, deliver, review, and adjust prostheses as required across various amputation levels.
  • Manage patient expectations, ensuring their needs are respected and they're kept fully informed.
  • Maintain accurate clinical notes and records.
  • Stay up-to-date with Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and participate in postgraduate training courses.
  • Attend meetings and conferences to stay informed about industry developments.

Requirements:
  • Degree qualified in Prosthetics and Orthotics, or equivalent
  • HCPC registration
  • BAPO or ISPO (desirable)
  • Experience in lower limb prosthetics
  • Experience in delivering a range of prosthetic clinics
  • Experience or desire to be involved in audit or service evaluation
