About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Substance Misuse Tier 4 Practitioner to join our team at Derby City Drug and Alcohol Recovery Service. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals to reach their goals and change their lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide tailored interventions and recovery approaches to support individuals in achieving their goals
  • Work collaboratively with the team to deliver high-quality services and support
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, colleagues, and external partners
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of service plans and policies
Requirements
  • Relevant experience of working in health and social care, ideally within the field of substance use, mental health, or a comparable field
  • Evidence of effective partnership working and the ability to network for the benefit of the client and service
  • Evidence of managing a busy caseload or tasks and excellent organisational skills
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Outlook and Word and familiarity with database management systems
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Understanding of complex issues presented by people in the community
  • Determined, with a drive to succeed and a willingness to learn
  • Passionate and enthusiastic about making a real difference to the lives of people we support
