About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Systems Specialist to join our team at Forest Rock, a leading UK-based tech company developing innovative solutions for the Internet of Things.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for monitoring and controlling commercial buildings and facilities across the UK using IoT technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Travel to customer sites around the UK to implement and maintain advanced control systems and solutions.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to develop and deploy cutting-edge IoT solutions across various sectors, including commercial buildings, retail, hospitality, and renewable energy.
  • Utilize your expertise in IT systems, networks, and TCP/IP to design and implement efficient and effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with our team to encourage innovation and new ideas, and develop exciting solutions using the latest technologies.
Requirements
  • Hold a degree in a related subject, such as Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or Building Services Engineering.
  • Have a strong understanding of IT systems, networks, and TCP/IP, as well as some exposure to control systems, telecommunications, automation, or integrated systems.
  • Be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Be prepared to work away from home on occasion and have your own transport.
