About the Role

We are seeking a part-time Audiologist with a specialist interest in balance to join our team at Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust. As a key member of our Audiology Department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality adult audiology services, with a focus on balance assessment and vestibular testing.

Main Responsibilities
  • Undertake routine and complex clinical caseloads in Adult Audiology, including balance testing, ENT clinics, GPDR patients, and reassessments.
  • Develop skills and competencies within the field of Audiology, with a focus on balance assessment and vestibular testing.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to provide a comprehensive audiology service, including hearing aid fittings, follow-ups, and repairs.
About Us

We provide care for the residents of three diverse London boroughs, with a team of over 7,800 permanent staff. Our services include all major specialties of large acute hospitals, and we operate from two main sites - King George Hospital in Goodmayes and Queen's Hospital in Romford.

We are proud of our regional Neurosciences Centre, Radiotherapy Centre, Hyper Acute Stroke Unit, and dedicated breast care service at King George Hospital. Our team is committed to providing high-quality patient care, and we are looking for a like-minded Audiologist to join us.

Requirements
  • BSc or PTP in Audiology, with BAAT part I and II or equivalent.
  • Experience in balance assessment and general audiology, with a focus on vestibular testing.
  • RCCP or HCPC registration.
