Job Title: Health Visitor Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Health Visitor Specialist to join our team at NELFT NHS Foundation Trust. As a Health Visitor Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering child health programs and working in partnership with children's centers, schools, GPs, social care organizations, and voluntary agencies.

Main Responsibilities:

* Assess the health needs of individuals and involve clients and carers in meeting those needs.
* Monitor the health of children under five years old and promote optimum health and development.
* Be aware of deviations from the normal in health and behavior and intervene to protect vulnerable children and adults.

Person Specification:

* Registered Health Visitor Specialist Practice Qualification
* Experience working as a Health Visitor or equivalent
* Ability to communicate complex information to clients and relatives
* Up-to-date knowledge of legislation and guidance on child health and public health.
