Role Responsibilities:

As the Lead Sales Executive, you will be instrumental in our mission-driven journey.

Your primary objective is to generate revenue and establish new business opportunities while enhancing existing relationships with maritime financing providers. The main focus will be on the shipping divisions of leading maritime finance institutions, with additional attention on non-traditional financing sources.

As a key member of the Executive team, reporting directly to the CEO, your duties will encompass:

  • Formulating and implementing a sales strategy for your designated market, aimed at driving new business and increasing revenue in alignment with company objectives and personal performance indicators.
  • Utilizing your market expertise to cultivate and leverage existing and new relationships, optimize pricing strategies, negotiate agreements, and collaborate across teams to foster business growth.
  • Working closely with the Chief Technology Officer and Chief Operating Officer to grasp the intricacies of our products, the product development lifecycle, and SATVA TRUST's platform capabilities.
  • Maintaining a comprehensive understanding of the maritime industry and SATVA TRUST's technological offerings and value proposition.

Qualifications:

  • A successful sales background (minimum 8-10 years) in financial services, banking, or fintech sectors. A passion for technology will enable you to drive meaningful change within the maritime financing landscape.
  • A proven history of engaging and finalizing commercial agreements with banks or alternative financing entities (experience in maritime finance is advantageous). Your customer-centric approach, combined with an appreciation for the benefits of innovative technological solutions, will allow you to merge these elements effectively.
  • An entrepreneurial spirit with a knack for tackling complex challenges, you will excel in simplifying them and introducing them to a new customer base. Experience in a dynamic startup environment is a plus.

Location and Travel: This is a remote position that may occasionally require in-person team meetings. Candidates are ideally located in London, Singapore, Hong Kong, Europe, or the UAE, with travel to clients (international) estimated at 30% of the time.

Compensation: Competitive salary with performance-based commission structure (package details negotiable).
