The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sous Chef to join our team at Miller & Carter - Nunthorpe. As a Sous Chef, you will be responsible for leading a team of chefs and kitchen staff to deliver exceptional food quality and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of chefs and kitchen staff to achieve high standards of food quality and presentation.
  • Assist the Head Chef in menu planning, food ordering, and stock control.
  • Train and develop junior chefs to improve their skills and knowledge.
  • Ensure that all kitchen staff adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Contribute to the development of new menu ideas and recipes.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Sous Chef or equivalent role.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
