Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Property Credit Controller to join our team at Block Recruit. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing rental payments and ensuring the financial stability of our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor rental accounts to identify late or missing payments and take necessary actions to resolve these issues.
- Pursue outstanding payments through professional communication with tenants and landlords.
- Reconcile accounts and prepare rent schedules using Excel and our in-house property management system.
- Communicate with tenants regarding rent accounts and resolve any queries or concerns.
- Serve legal notices when required and manage the process through to completion.
- Run routine and ad hoc reports and post daily rent charges.
- Collaborate with the finance department on rental payment matters and provide support as needed.
Requirements:
- Experience in a property management environment, particularly in credit control.
- Proven success in achieving financial targets and meeting deadlines.
- Excellent organizational, prioritization, and planning abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle complex issues professionally.
- Competent in using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
