Financial Director

Your new company is a fast-growing SME business in Liverpool, manufacturing products for the industrial sector with new applications opening up domestic and overseas markets.
Your RoleAs Financial Controller, you will report to an experienced Finance Director and lead the finance team in producing accurate and timely financial information. You will act as a business partner to senior operational leaders, providing support on product costing, pricing, and manufacturing decisions.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the team in producing monthly management accounts and prepare financial summaries for review by the Finance Director and the board.
- Optimise the use of finance systems and IT to ensure an efficient process with strong financial controls.
- Be the lead point of contact for auditors at year-end and the first point of contact for external partners.
- Contribute to capital projects and provide input on business growth initiatives.
We are seeking a qualified accountant with significant experience in the manufacturing sector. You should be familiar with manufacturing reporting and have experience partnering with operational leaders. You will have experience leading a small team and the ambition to apply your skills in a fast-growing business.
