Job Title: Radio Field Engineers

Tangent International is seeking experienced Radio Field Engineers to join our team on 6-month rolling contracts based in the United Kingdom (Various Locations).

Job Summary

We are looking for skilled professionals to work on various projects, providing exceptional customer service, and contributing to clients' overall delivery of excellence in customer service and value to the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work and train towards providing timely, cost-effective, and quality service, adopting safe working practices at all times.
  • Contribute to clients' overall delivery of excellence in customer service and value to the business, exhibiting a high degree of professionalism and customer focus.
Technical Requirements
  • Understanding of General Telecoms Systems, including AC/DC Power Systems, Rectification and Power Distribution Systems, and Radio Frequency (RF) Transmission and Receiver Systems.
  • Experience with tools and safety equipment to fault find, test, and maintain such systems.
  • Knowledge of Radio Frequency (RF) Transmission and Receiver Systems, including Spectrum Allocation, Air Interface, Analogue to Digital Conversion, Modulation Techniques, GSM, UMTS, and LTE Fundamentals.
  • Experience with Radio Access Network and Core Network Architecture, Cellular Network Fundamentals, Mobility Management, and Cell Planning.
  • Experience with BTS/RAN + Microwave Radio, including Huawei BTS, Ericsson Radio System, Nokia Airscale, and Siae Microwave.
Requirements
  • Working at heights/Climber experience.
  • Main Vendor Equipment: Huawei BTS, Ericsson Radio System, Nokia Airscale, and Siae Microwave.

Please note that this position will be inside IR35.
