Key Responsibilities:

As a Field Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing exceptional customer service, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and quality solutions while adopting safe working practices.
  • Contributing to clients' overall delivery of excellence in customer service and value to the business, demonstrating a high degree of professionalism and customer focus.

Technical Requirements:

You will need to have:

  • Understanding of General Telecoms Systems, including AC/DC Power Systems, Rectification and Power Distribution Systems, and Radio Frequency (RF) Transmission and Receiver Systems.
  • Experience with tools and safety equipment for fault finding, testing, and maintaining such systems.
  • Knowledge of Radio Access Network and Core Network architecture, as well as Cellular Network Fundamentals, Mobility Management, and Cell Planning.
  • Experience with Main Vendor Equipment, including Huawei BTS, Ericsson Radio System, Nokia Airscale, and Microwave Radio.

Working Conditions:

This position will require working at heights and climbing, and you will be expected to work in a variety of locations across the UK.

Important Note:

This position will be inside IR35.
