Job Title: Engineering Manager - Radio and Wireless

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our Radio and Wireless team, responsible for delivering high-quality projects across the UK. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background in radio and wireless systems, with a proven track record of managing engineering teams and delivering projects to time and budget.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead and manage the Radio and Wireless engineering team, ensuring the successful delivery of projects across the UK.
  2. Design and implement wireless telecommunications systems, including indoor coverage solutions, cellular, Wi-Fi, and IP networks.
  3. Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with internal departments, including sales, account management, finance, and project management.
  4. Provide technical assistance and product education to the Sales and Account Management teams.
  5. Deliver technical presentations and demonstrations to customers, and create Functional Design Specifications (FDS) for infill, expansion, and technology upgrade projects.
  6. Manage the day-to-day issues associated with engineering delivery, resolving and/or escalating issues/non-conformance in a timely manner.
Requirements:
  1. Excellent radio, indoor coverage, cellular, Wi-Fi, IP network, unified comms technical and industry knowledge.
  2. At least 5 years experience in managing engineering teams, working in technically challenging projects with a successful track record of delivering against demanding customer requirements.
  3. Experience and detailed knowledge of the deployment of private mobile radio solutions, including Tetra, DMR, MTP1327, and analogue.
  4. Knowledge of TCP/IP routing, GSM, VoIP, fixed line comms, and wireless solutions.
