Job Title: SEN Tutor

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Tutor to join our team at Targeted Provision Ltd. As a SEN Tutor, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality education and support to young people with Special Education Needs and Disabilities (SEND), Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, and Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD/SLD).

About the Role:

This is a unique opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable learners. As a SEN Tutor, you will be responsible for providing one-to-one tuition in Maths, English, or Science to young people with a range of learning needs. You will work closely with our team of SEN Support Specialists to ensure that every placement is a success for the young person and you.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver engaging and holistic sessions that meet the needs of each young person
  • Provide regular feedback and progress reports to parents and carers
  • Work collaboratively with our SEN Support Team to ensure seamless support for each young person
Requirements:
  • Professional Teaching Qualifications (Qualified Teacher Status / QTS / QTLS)
  • Minimum 2 years teaching experience
  • Experience working with young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or other Additional Educational Needs
  • Enhanced DBS (we can help obtain this at cost if needed)
  • Two professional references
