About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Support Specialist to join our team at Gentoo Group. As a key member of our IT department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our technical infrastructure and providing exceptional support to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting services to customers via phone, email, and in-person
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and improve overall system performance
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles
  • Participate in on-call rotations and provide after-hours support as needed
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent work experience
  • Proven experience in a technical support role, preferably in a corporate environment
  • Familiarity with ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) principles and best practices for IT service management
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills, with the ability to analyze and resolve technical issues efficiently
  • Experience with relational databases, SQL queries, and data analysis tools is desirable
